Notable Jersey City Residents Past and Present

Martha Stewart
Born in Jersey City in 1941

Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and the Furious)
Grew up in Jersey City, recently quoted in BusinessInsider "I'd rather go back to Jersey City"

50 Cent
Not from here but was involved in a memorial incident in the DoubleTree Hotel parking lot that resulted in a broken window at BJ's Wholesale Club in 2003


Nathan Lane

Born in Jersey City, attended St. Peter's Prep in Paulus Hook

Queen Latifah
She recently sold her 19th century restored firehouse behind the Grove Street PATH station on Morgan Street that was once home to her business Flavor Unit

Ricky Goldin (Bold and the Beautiful)
Recently appeared on LXTV's OpenHouse NYC to showcase his unique condo at The Pier House in Paulus Hook

John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys)
As referenced in a 2006 New York Times article

Rosie O'Donnell
She learned on the TV show "Who Do You Think You Are" that her grandfather lived on Henderson Street (now Marin Blvd) in Jersey City.
