New Martial Arts Academy in the Heights Hosting a Zumathon Charity Event This Saturday, October 19, 2013: International TKD Academy


International TaeKwon-Do Academy, a new martial arts academy with a mission of promoting health & fitness, has opened its doors in the Heights neighborhood of Jersey City at 523 Palisade Avenue.

The academy's owner and instructor is Vic Teran, a War Veteran who served in the Marines for 8 years and for the U.S Department of State as a Security Protective Specialist (Agent-in-Charge) for high level dignitaries in high threat regions.

International TKD offers several programs for adults and children:

Taekwon-Do (Ages 4 - Adults)
Zumba (All Ages)
Yoga (All Ages)
Combat High Intensity Training (Ages 16- Adults)
All Women Self-Defense (Ages 16- Adults)

They are also hosting Zumba fitness party this upcoming Saturday, October 19th from 2 pm to 4 pm to benefit HolyFit Non-Profit.

It will be a family-friendly party including a full Zumba class, vendors including Zumba wear, a raffle and more!

  1. Martial art styles such as Tai Chi produces anti-aging results. Especially when it comes to the oldies Tai Chi is a good discipline of martial arts that you can adapt to in order to keep your body moving and fight the aging problem. Thanks!
