Surf City Re-Opens for the Season on Thursday, May 15, 2014

Surf City: a tropical vacation without leaving Jersey City!

Surf City returns for the summer season this Thursday, May 15th at 4:00 pm followed by a "First Friday" celebration on Friday, May 16th hosted by Jerseylicious star Olivia Blois Sharpe at 10:00 pm.

Located in the Liberty Harbor Marina at the southern end of Marin Boulevard, Surf City is a waterfront bar and restaurant with an amazing view of NYC and the Statue of Liberty.

The bar and restaurant has a vacation-y atmosphere with tropical frozen drinks, seafood menu items, a fire pit, 30-foot long community tables and even a sandy beach, although it does take on more a nightlife vibe later in the evening (if that's not your scene, try going on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for a laid back spot to watch the boats and sip a few Piña coladas).

Note: Surf City will only be open Thursday - Sunday until June 1st after which time it will be open 7 days a week.
