Public Pools:
Various public school pools are open to the public during the summer months. You can view the city's list and schedule of pools here.
Water Sprinklers:
There are quite a few water sprinklers for kids to enjoy in Jersey City, on everyday from 10 am to 7 pm throughout the summer until August 31st. Check out the list of locations here. Also, its not on the list yet but Van Vorst Park's new water sprinkler is nearing completion and should be open any day now. Update (7/11/14): As of yesterday the new spray feature at Van Vorst Park was on!

Indoor pool (49' x 12') open to members and non-members ($25 day pass). The pool is also available for rent for private functions.

Jersey City Unleashed
619 Marin Blvd
Okay, this is actually for dogs but your four-legged friends need to cool off too! Unleashed is a huge pet resort and day care center from Hoboken that recently opened a Jersey City location at 619 Marin Blvd (near the A&P by the Holland Tunnel). They have indoor and outdoor pool areas open year-round where your dog swim and even take swimming lessons. You can also swim with your dog during select hours on Saturdays and Sundays!
