Spring is officially here! It is still cold outside but March 15th marked the first day per the city ordinance that local establishments can start serving customers outside.

Since there's nothing like a meal or a beer outside (somehow it just tastes better!), below is a brief guide to Jersey City bars and restaurants that have outdoor seating.

  1. Such a good idea for a post, so many omitted places!

Add Porto Lounge to places with garden/patio.

Add La Conguita, O'Haras, O'Connels to sidewalk seating.

Add Henry's on the Hudson to your JC Bars with Waterfront view.

  3. The More garden is one of my favs and I don't think a lot of people know about it. You have to kinda walk through the kitchen to get there.

  4. For another place with views of the waterfront, there is the bar/restaurant inside the Hyatt Regency.

  5. Eliot -- Agree 100% with the More statement. That backyard is amazing.

Abbey's Bar and Grill, Hamilton Inn, York St. Tavern, 9th and Coles Tavern - Sidewalk seating.

The list goes on but that's all I can remember for now. :)
