Tend Your Own Plot at Brunswick Community Garden

For many of us who live in apartments with little access to outdoor space community gardens are a great way to grow fresh fruits and veggies without having to leave the city.

This community garden on Brunswick Street between 5th Street and 6th Street will assign you your very own plot where you can plant your own flowers, fruits and vegetables.

Membership involves a small fee and there are certain days/hours the garden is open for you to go and care for your plants.  Currently there is a wait list but you can contact them to be added to the list.

There's nothing like growing and eating your own food!  Not only do you get the satisfaction of growing and eating your own food, home grown tomatoes are scientifically tastier than the ones you buy at the grocery store.
