Fewer Homes Available For Sale in Jersey City

According to the latest market report from Hudson Realty Group the Hoboken and Downtown Jersey City real estate market seems to have rebounded in the second half of 2012 with prices and sales volume going up.

This snippet from their report highlights the record low inventory buyers are experiencing in the current real estate market:

In Downtown Jersey City, there were 83 condos on the market, down from a high of 384 in mid-2009.

Wow - what a difference a couple of years makes!  And with low interest rates and not many new condo developments in the works Hudson Realty Group expects the ultra low inventory problem for buyers to continue.
