Asian Food Market on Route 440 is Now Open

Asian Food Market opened their newest location at 701 Route 440 in Jersey City on January 10th.  It is located in the same plaza as the Hudson Mall, along with Toys R Us, Marshalls, Big Lots, Lowes and Old Navy with ample parking in front of the store.

The new grocery store is large, clean and well stocked.  They offer a wide selection of produce, seafood, prepared food and many hard-to-find Asian products, saving Jersey City shoppers a trip to Chinatown, Mitsua (Japanese supermarket in Edgewater) or H-Mart.

The store was crowded today but lines were quick.  They also have are some great deals (for example, $1.88 for an 18 oz package of fresh blackberries). You can check out their circular here.

Update (1/22/14): Asian Food's is throwing a grand opening celebration this Saturday, January 25th!
