Jersey Statuary Building Opens Its Doors for JC Fridays in the Heights on Friday, June 6, 2014

Jersey Statuary Building will be open to the public for an art exhibit, musical performance and tribute to former statue manufacturing and repair business owner Ralph Giblesi this Friday, June 6th as part of JC Fridays, a city-wide celebration of the arts.

The event is hosted by the Jersey Statuary Building's current residents, Walter and Margo Parks ,who restored the building over the span of two years

Jersey City based gypsy jazz band Manouche Bag will perform from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm on the outdoor patio. Italian wine, provided by Palisades Wine & Liquors, and desserts by Cholita Desert Bar and Italian espresso will be served.

The Jersey Statuary is located at 53 Congress Street in the Heights between Webster and New York Avenues.
